Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Pointune (https://pointune.com, "the Site") handles information about visitors.

1. Information we collect directly

The Site has no sign-up or login and does not ask for your name, phone number or address. Values you enter into the tools are processed in your browser only and are never sent to or stored on our servers. Features that use the microphone, such as the tuner, turn it on only when you allow it. Sound is analyzed only on this device. Nothing is recorded, sent, or stored. The language you choose (Korean or English) is saved in a cookie (lang, kept for one year) so the home address takes you straight to that language next time; it is used only to pick the language and is not logged.

Settings and records you change on the Site (for example, your metronome tempo and time signature, and your tuner reference pitch and tuning) are stored only in your browser and are never sent to our servers. They are deleted when you clear the Site's data in your browser.

If you email us at [email protected], we receive your email address and the content of your message so we can reply. We delete it within one year after the conversation ends unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

2. Information collected automatically (cookies)

When you visit the Site, information such as access records, browser type, device and pages visited may be generated automatically. This information is processed by the third-party services listed below. Of these, the visitor statistics service uses cookies or similar technologies, and we only see its data as anonymous, aggregated statistics.

  • Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.): delivers the Site and protects it (for example, blocking attacks), processing information such as IP addresses and request details.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): used to understand how many people visit and which pages they use. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • The Site currently shows no ads. We will update this policy before adding any.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Site's core features keep working without them.

3. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell or share your personal information, except when required by law.

You may ask to access, correct or delete the information you sent us by email. Contact us at the address below and we will respond without delay.
